All 4 Wingfeather Saga hardcover editions have been announced, so I can share the whole set together at last! Loved every second of working on these. You can order the first2, and pre-order 3&4
Based on the thumbnails or the Amon alone, it probably won’t take much convincing. OlDRingO (removing the stylization, it’s Old Ringo) is probably the best imitator of late-era Kaneko art I’ve ever seen. I’ve been trying to contact them for sharing permissions on Pixiv for months to no avail, so a reduced Amon, gallery thumbnails, and links will have to do. Unfortunately, you WILL need a Pixiv account to view the art in full.
But as you can see, it’s Goetia galore. Ghost-chalice Gamygyn, floating egg shell Agares, and vapin’ Marbas would belong right next to the likes of Morax. Amon is the the one I keep coming back to; the style, the texture, the RESTRAINT are amazing. So it’s practically criminal
that OlDRingO’s phenomenal work seems to remain overlooked. Let’s change that!
Thanks to @greed92-smt for introducing me to
OlDRingO!
The Persona World Guidance I ordered got here today and I noticed that the EP portraits are more bright and colorful compared to the IS ones. And characters like Katsuya has a completely different design. Is there a reason for this like maybe the way Tastuya sees people vs how Maya sees people? or is it a timeline thing?
They did slight design changes regarding the character portraits. Even the character sprites look very different if you compare the IS sprites and EP sprites (the IS sprites have large eyes and look less mature than the EP ones).
I think that it might be the result of both: The two different parallel universes as well as that the silent MC spot changed from Tatsuya to Maya.
